The Bar

The Roadmaker boasts a public bar with an open log fireplace and plentiful seating. A recently extended lounge area provides comfortable surroundings for a quiet drink or a fun night out. Drinks include hand pulled and electric beers, a wide selection of wines and spirits including speciality whiskeys. The bar is open every day.

We went to The Roadmaker after a long day out with the kids. 8 of us rolled up without booking but the staff were more than accommodating. The food was excellent,service attentive without being intrusive and the choices catered for the entire age range… from mild to hold your hat spicy! Whilst not the cheapest place to dine,it is true that you get what you pay for and this was worth every penny. l’d recommend to anyone wanting to try Indian food with an exciting Gurkha twist!
